One of the busiest retail websites in Europe, www.marksandspencer.com is capable of processing over 20k orders per hour.

The current incarnation of M&S.com was launched in Feb 2014. Following a best of breed approach, the “site” is in reality a large number of integrated enterprise systems. During development there were over 650 engineers working to bring it to life.

My team are responsible for keeping all of this operational and healthy as well as the development of the Order Management, Payment & Fraud and Customer Comms elements of the service.
